The Neva Foundation supported the first international hockey tournament initiated in Geneva by the Genève-Servette Hockey Club. 450 children aged 11 to 14, divided into 22 teams and representing eight countries, accepted the invitation to participate. Among them, two Russian teams : SKA and Spartak of Saint-Petersburg.
The gala match "Russian Stars - World Stars", during which the team of the Russian hockey legends opposed the team of international players and players of Genève-Servette Club, was one of the most memorable moments of this event.
By supporting this initiative, the Neva Foundation wished to give the young Russian players an opportunity to play with the kids of their age from Switzerland and other countries, as well as to offer a gift to the children from Geneva by presenting them the "match of the stars".
We are happy that this first tournament started a tradition and that our partnership with Genève-Servette Hockey Club continues.
