For the third consecutive year the Neva Foundation sponsored a major sport event designed to promote the upcoming generation of hockey players.

Founded by Geneva-Servette Hockey Club in 2011, this tournament allows around 500 youngsters to share their joint passion for hockey and to compete on the occasion of high level games. We were particularly pleased to have 6 women’s teams participating this year, demonstrating that interest in girl’s hockey is on the rise!

These gatherings offer to these young athletes the opportunity to share enriching and multicultural experiences in a spirit of friendship. This year the theme of the Challenge was Fair Play and Respect. To this end, the players were encouraged to play fairly, respect their adversaries, the referees, the coaches, the officials and themselves.
