Verbier Festival 2019

In 2019, as in the past 9 years, the Neva Foundation renewed its support to the Verbier Festival. As a Main Sponsor, the foundation is particularly involved in the programmes of the Verbier Festival Academy and this year, it enabled 17 young Russian talents to join the Soloist & Chamber Music Programme, the Atelier Lyrique, the Conducting Programme and the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra. Besides, and for the first time, two "Neva artists of Promise" were invited to discover the Atelier Lyrique for a week. All of them left with wonderful memories of their stay, during which they met and learned from the greatest masters.

As part of Unlimited, the festival's "off" programme, the Foundation organised the Chess by Neva Foundation, a day of activities dedicated to chess, as well as a public conversation between Vladimir Kramnik, former world chess champion, and psychologist Gary Leboff on the theme "Reaching Peak Performance".

The 26th edition of the festival offered unforgettable moments to the public and the Foundation was very happy to have been associated with it once again.
